A forward planning seminar presented by Gotelee Solicitors recently proved to be a popular draw for the people of Hadleigh and the surrounding district.

The seminar covered topics such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Care fees, Trusts and Inheritance Tax.  Held at the Old Town Hall in Hadleigh, entry was free and around 50 people took the opportunity to hear an authoritative update on recent changes in the law in these important areas.

Speakers Peter Crix, Tanya Thomas and Emma Woollard (pictured), all partners with Gotelee, gave talks that offered clear, practical advice cutting through the legal jargon.

The event was well received and clearly resonated with the audience who were keen to raise questions both during the Q&A session and afterwards.  As Peter Crix commented: “The topics covered were obviously ones of great importance to people.  The seminar was fully booked and the demand for places was such that we unfortunately had to disappoint a number of people.  We are thinking about running a similar event in the near future so there is an opportunity to contact us for details.”

Copies of the notes from the seminar and information about future events can be obtained from Dawn Robb on dawn.robb@gotelee.co.uk (or 01473 298151).
