Emma Woollard

Qualified in 1999 and joined Gotelee in 2005. Became a partner in 2010

I am a private client lawyer and advise clients on a range of issues including wills, administrations of estates and powers of attorney.   I am also able to help with Court of Protection matters, nursing and residential home funding and NHS Continuing Care appeals.

I worked for a number of years as a property lawyer and can advise on property related issues, this gives me a broad base of experience and understanding to deal with the many matters that arise later on in life and in particular with our older clients.

It is important for me to provide a common sense and straightforward approach and take the worry out of an often difficult and upsetting situation.

My clients have commented that I have given them peace of mind, taken away their worries and offered a sense of perspective.

  • "I have had dealings with Gotelee since the early 70s with Commander Alan Gotelee offering an excellent service.  The service now is still as excellent and the firm is modern enough without losing professional dignity, which is extremely important." Captain D A Ingham, Bentley
  • "A very well established professional practice, giving valued support, helpful advice, courtesy and a prompt service" Mrs J M Collings, Stutton
  • "I can't think of anything to improve the service I received.  I valued the friendly, wise and sympathetic help, and I think this is the most helpful approachable law firm I have ever had dealings with" LS, Ipswich

When I am not at Gotelee I am juggling two small boys and I am a Governor at Holbrook Primary School.  I enjoy sailing and walking and when I have the time trying to tame the garden.
