Joshua joined Gotelee in 2007 and qualified as a solicitor in 2009 – at only just over 2 years qualified he is already classed in the 2011 Legal 500 as a ‘rising star.’
My time at Gotelee is split between being an assistant solicitor in the Firm’s dispute resolution department and heading up the Firm’s debt recovery unit.
In my role as an assistant solicitor in the Dispute Resolution department I provide advice in relation to contractual disputes, consumer rights matters and all Landlord and Tenant issues, including commercial and residential rent areas, evictions, forfeiture and joint ownership disputes (‘TOLATA’).
As head of the Debt Recovery unit I pride myself on the efficient and effective service we offer. Specifically distinguished in the 2011 Legal 500 as being ‘more proactive than other firms’ we offer a first class service on a no recovery, no fee basis. I manage hundreds of files on behalf of the unit’s clients, who range from sole traders to large national public limited companies.
At Gotelee I take great effort in establishing a good relationship with my client from the outset of any instruction.
I offer sound, practical and pragmatic advice, which is underpinned by identifying and pursuing the most effective solution for my client at the earliest possible opportunity. In this way, I believe that I can get the best possible outcome for my clients in the most cost effective and expeditious manner.
When I am not at Gotelee I enjoy keeping fit by visiting the gym. I am a hugely enthusiastic sportsman and play and follow rugby, football and cricket. I am a keen cook and I enjoy experiencing different cultures, customs and cuisines. Most of all I like spending time with my son Oscar.
