Graduated from University College London and joined Gotelee in 1993
I am the head of the Gotelee Litigation department as well as leading the personal injury and clinical negligence teams. I act for claimants in complex injury and clinical negligence claims. My specialist areas include asbestos based claims, spinal injury and paralysis claims and workplace stress. I also act in an increasing number of clinical negligence claims particularly arising from mis diagnosis of tumours, gastro-intestinal and cosmetic surgery.
I have personally obtained compensation in excess of £1 million on several occasions for people injured in Road Traffic Accidents and a number of awards of £500k or more for vicitms of clinical negligence or people who have suffered limb amputations.
I am a Law Society Personal Injury Panel member and an accredited Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. I sit on the board of Ipswich Headway and I am a committee member of the Ipswich Medico-Legal Society.
When I am not at Gotelee my time is spent with my young family, walking my two Labradors, and, when I get the time, my other passion in life - birdwatching. I will also admit to a growing interest in gardening, badly!
