Victims of Crime

We advise clients who are the victims of crime.  Although victims are usually portrayed as individuals, businesses can also be victims of crime. Your business may have fallen prey to a dishonest employee or a data theft or expensive or annoying vandalism. We can advise and assist in the making of boardroom decisions concerning whether and when to make a complaint and to whom the report should be made.

Our experience of representing clients in the criminal justice system can be invaluable to those caught up in the system as victims or complainants. We know that often you can feel that no one cares and that you have been forgotten. We can assist with explaining the system and the possible outcomes to you and liaising with the various people and bodies who are dealing with your case. Sometimes just knowing that someone is on your side and is fighting your corner can be of great comfort at a time when the resources devoted to the prosecution of cases have never been more challenged. We can deliver advice when you need it and you will not have to wait for an appointment.

If you are a victim of business crime we can also advise you on possible claims against the offender and how to deal with any employment issues which might arise. If you need to restructure your business to cope with the fallout we are on hand to help.

If any member of your staff is unfortunate enough to have been the victim of a crime of violence we can help them to claim compensation.

You will find that we are approachable, understanding, sympathetic and practical in the advice that we give. Please telephone or complete the enquiry form below.
