Sponsoring Migrant Workers and Students

Sponsoring Migrant Workers and Students

The concept of sponsorship was introduced when the points-based system replaced our existing immigration system in 2008.

In the vast majority of cases if you want to employ a migrant worker you must obtain a sponsor licence and then agree to sponsor them during their stay in the UK. Similar rules apply if you want to enrol a migrant student on a course in the UK.

How we can help

We can advise you:

  • when you will need to obtain a sponsor licence;
  • how to obtain a sponsor licence;
  • how you can sponsor migrants once you have a licence; and
  • what your duties are as a sponsor

Our charges

As with everything we do, our charges are very reasonable and tailored to the work that you would like us to do. In the vast majority of cases, we will agree a fixed fee for your work, so that you can safely budget with no fear of receiving an unexpected bill from us. We also offer a Fixed Price HR Retainer. This allows you real time expert advice from our team, all year round, at a price you can afford. Please contact us for a quote.
