Defamation and Malicious Falsehood

Defamation and Malicious Falsehood

If someone has said or written something about you which is untrue and you have suffered damage to your reputation and/or financial losses as a result then contact us.

This is a complex area of law. You will need expert advice from an experienced dispute resolution lawyer. We will respond swiftly, with solid advice and support through every step of the process.

Our first approach will be discussion and negotiation. If the dispute can be settled quickly this will save you time, cost and stress.

There may however be circumstances where it will be necessary to additionally make an application to the court for an injunction to prevent the untrue comments being published or repeated.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation and it goes to court, we will fight your corner fearlessly.

You will need to act quickly. If the dispute cannot be settled and it has to go to court, a claim must be lodged with the court within 12 months of the untrue comments.

Please telephone or complete the enquiry form.
