New Solicitors in Woodbridge and Melton
Leading Suffolk law firm Gotelee Solicitors is celebrating its latest phase of expansion with its legal team now serving clients in two new locations – Melton and Woodbridge – as well as an additional office in Felixstowe.
Gotelee, which already has offices in Ipswich, Hadleigh and Felixstowe, reached an agreement to merge with parts of Suffolk Coastal law firm Margary + Miller in February. That merger comes into effect on 1st April 2016, meaning Margary + Miller’s offices in Woodbridge, Melton and Felixstowe will then operate under the Gotelee banner.
Margary + Miller clients in those locations will benefit from a wider range of legal services, and new clients in the area will be able to access the full legal support. Currently, Margary + Miller focuses largely on tax, trusts, wills and conveyancing – however, clients will now have access to the full spectrum of services provided by Gotelee, including family matters, such as divorce and separation, business law, commercial property, employment law and crime, whilst adding further weight to teams dealing with dispute resolution, medical negligence and personal injury work.
Margary + Miller’s Southwold office will remain unaffected by the merger and will continue to run as it is.
Gotelee CEO Alistair Lang said the merger marked an exciting new phase of expansion for Gotelee, which has served the county for more than 130 years.
“This merger provides us with the opportunity to expand further into Suffolk and provide expert legal advice to even more clients,” he said.
“The firm has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years, with an expansion of the teams at our Hadleigh and Ipswich offices and with the headcount increasing by 50% in the last 2 years. And we’ve also had the successful opening of our office in Felixstowe.
