I am a medical negligence solicitor. I help people who have claims arising from:
I qualified as a solicitor in 2002 after graduating from the University of East Anglia and Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford. I joined Gotelee in 2002.
Before becoming a solicitor, I trained as a nurse. I worked in all areas of nursing both in the NHS and private sectors for 20 years. After raising my family, I re-trained as a solicitor and now specialise in Medical Negligence Claims. My medical background is a great advantage in this area of practice.
I deal with a wide range of medical claims against GPs, hospital clinicians in both the NHS and private sectors, dentists and opticians.
I act for clients who have suffered an injury as result of medical mis-treatment themselves or where family members have died as a result of mis-treatment, bringing claims on behalf of the deceased’s estate and under Fatal Accidents Act.
I also represent the families of those who have been failed by state institutions such as Social Services or Mental Health Trusts under the Human Rights Act. I regularly represent families at Inquests.
My extensive experience in the medical and legal professions gives me a unique ability to assess the merits of a claim and help my client through the sometimes complex legal process of making a medical negligence claim. I understand the distress and sense of mistrust that my client’s experience when they have had sub standard treatment and suffered losses as a result. I do my best to make the process as easy as possible.
If you think you or a family member have suffered an injury as a result of medical error or mis-treatment, please telephone my office for a free and confidential discussion of your case.
I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Ipswich Medico-Legal Society.
The Legal 500 which is an impartial view on legal service providers and a the definitive guide for those seeking expert legal advice ranked me as a Leading Individual and says (2015): Gotelee Solicitors ‘fights hard and consistently achieves excellent results’. Diana Infanti, who ‘knows every one of her files inside out’ represented the mother of an autistic teenager who died following neglect by a local authority.
The 2014 edition of The Legal 500 says Diana Infanti is ‘outstanding for knowledge, thoughtfulness and attention to detail’
Here’s what some of Diana’s clients have to say:
“Diana really seemed to care and made the whole process as painless as possible”
“Diana Infanti’s attention to detail was exceptional and she fought my case very well against the hospital”
“I would not hesitate to recommend Diana as Solicitor, she goes the extra mile, communicates everything and gets results. First class service”.
“There’s sensitivity in my case, and passion in getting the correct result”
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family (and travelling to Italy to see extended family), gardening and socialising.
