What to do if your device is seized
There are many reasons why the police may have come to your property, very often early in the morning and informed you they have the authority to take from your home any electronic devices.
The police will usually divulge the reason why they are at your property, maybe they are informing you that an IP address matches with an IP address used to access indecent images or they are informing you that a device has been used to cause harassment to another. Whatever you are being told we can help you.
On most occasions, they will take laptops, home PC’s, Ipads, tablets and mobile phones and you should receive an inventory of what has been removed.
