Separation

Separation

A relationship breakdown can be distressing and even more so if family problems involve children and finances. Divorce might not be something you are looking to at this stage and we can explain the alternatives and how you can ensure you are protected on separation.

Unmarried Couples

Some couples choose not to marry but separating can still raise concerns about children arrangements or financial arrangements. We can advise on your entitlement as a co-habitee and how to best resolve any disputes.

Advice

Taking legal advice at an early stage can avoid later difficulties particularly if there are discussions about who occupies the property, whether assets should be sold and divided and what arrangements for any children are agreed.

Meeting

At our offices in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Hadleigh, Woodbridge and Melton we can offer an initial fixed price meeting to provide you with an understanding of the options available, likely costs and outcomes.

Our Solicitors listen and will understand the problem. Our Solicitors have acted for a wide spectrum of clients whose relationships have broken down and if a difficult situation gets heated and you need help and advice quickly, we’ll be right there by your side.

Mediation and Collaborative Law

All of our team are members of the Resolution organisation and committed to its ideals of approaching family problems in a conciliatory and positive way. We offer the full range of Family Services including Mediation and Collaborative Law
