The candidate

We are currently recruiting a Solicitor or a Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE to join our friendly and busy Private Client department.  This role requires:

• Competence in handling Private Client matters.
• The ability to manage a full caseload, work under pressure to tight deadlines and be very self-motivated.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client care.
• Excellent communications skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and will have gained Private Client experience within well-respected firms.  They will be skilled at building lasting working relationships with clients, willing to play an active role in the team’s business development activities and will have a demonstrable drive to contribute to the Private Client team’s ongoing success.

The role 

The successful candidate will be expected to have experience of handling a full caseload of private client work including Wills, administration of estates, powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.

The successful candidate will be expected to be actively involved in marketing and networking.

It would be of benefit if the successful candidate was a member of STEP, or willing to become a member.
