Richard Guy
I specialise in Private Client work and have over 13 years’ post qualification experience acting for a range of clients from business owners, farmers, high net worth individuals and retirees. I advise clients on a wide variety of matters including wills, trusts, tax/estate planning, powers of attorney and probate/estate administration. I enjoy a particular focus on succession and tax/estate planning for business owners and their families.
I have been recommended and named as a ‘Rising Star’ by multiple editions of the independent publication Legal 500 [UK 2020, 2021 & 2022]
I graduated in French at University College London (UCL) before studying law at the College of Law (London) while working at the International Shipping Federation in London, where I represented shipowner associations at the United Nations IMO and ILO. I then trained at a large regional firm based in Cambridge (with a London and overseas office), before moving to Suffolk in 2012.
