Experience

I joined Gotelee’s residential conveyancing team as an Associate in Woodbridge in November 2019. Over 35 years ago I joined a law firm as a legal secretary and quickly commenced training as a Legal Executive, qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1991.

Although I worked over the next ten years mainly in residential conveyancing, I also worked in other areas of the Law to improve my knowledge and experience (handling local commercial property, minor personal injury claims and probate and Wills).  I then continued in my studies from 2001 and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2004, after which time I specialised in all aspects of residential conveyancing.

I have worked in both Woodbridge, Kesgrave and for many years in Felixstowe.  I have been responsible for training new conveyancers, some of which have gone on to qualify as either Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers.  I have headed up a residential conveyancing team for many years and also built up a conveyancing team as part of a new law practice.

Other Experience

From my many years of experience I do know that the house selling and buying process is often stressful. I have built up many loyal clients who recommend both to family and friends.  I believe that as I do all I can to ensure that my clients are kept both informed and secure in the level of expertise that I offer that I can help them achieve their goals.  My approach is that for any difficulties that arise on a client’s transaction, there is often a solution that can be found; e.g. title defects, adverse possession issues, lack of a legal right of way, remedying Lease defects.

I am often told by my clients that my patience and calm, sensible approach offers a great reassurance to them.
